There are 8 different types of *action cards* in the [game](/welcome-to-metarcy/metarchy.md), of which 6 are related to stop [location](/welcome-to-metarcy/game-review/constituents/playing-field.md) actions, 1 species refers to transferring [actors](/welcome-to-metarcy/game-review/constituents/actors.md), and one more species related to exchange [intangible resources](/welcome-to-metarcy/game-review/constituents/intangible-resources.md)

The *action сard* can be randomly generated by playing the [event card](/welcome-to-metarcy/game-review/constituents/event-cards.md), [player](/welcome-to-metarcy/game-review/constituents/players.md) can purchase a random *action card* for three different [material resources](/welcome-to-metarcy/game-review/constituents/material-resources.md): [product](/welcome-to-metarcy/game-review/constituents/material-resources/product-bet-on-win.md) + [energy](/welcome-to-metarcy/game-review/constituents/material-resources/energy-bet-on-losing.md) + [recycling](/welcome-to-metarcy/game-review/constituents/material-resources/recycling-bet-on-draw.md)

[Player](/welcome-to-metarcy/game-review/constituents/players.md) can play the *action card* during the [special action phase](/welcome-to-metarcy/game-rules/game-turn/phase-3-action.md).
