# Game and Bets

You can play [Metarchy](/welcome-to-metarcy/metarchy.md) for sport or for betting. *Bets* can only be played with an even number of [players](/welcome-to-metarcy/game-review/constituents/players.md):

* One-on-one 
* Two on two
* Three-on-three

In the case of betting, [players](/welcome-to-metarcy/game-review/constituents/players.md) will drop the same number of coins into the *prize pool* before starting the [game](/welcome-to-metarcy/metarchy.md). 

At the end of the [game](/welcome-to-metarcy/metarchy.md), the winner receives all coins from the *prize pool* except the platform commission of 5 percent of the *prize pool*
