# Scientist

[Players](/welcome-to-metarcy/game-review/constituents/players.md) can send an [actor](/welcome-to-metarcy/game-review/constituents/actors.md)-*scientist* only to the [location](/welcome-to-metarcy/game-review/constituents/playing-field.md) [university](/welcome-to-metarcy/game-review/constituents/playing-field/university.md) or [theater](/welcome-to-metarcy/game-review/constituents/playing-field/theater.md).

A *scientist* in the [location](/welcome-to-metarcy/game-review/constituents/playing-field.md) of [university](/welcome-to-metarcy/game-review/constituents/playing-field/university.md) or [theater](/welcome-to-metarcy/game-review/constituents/playing-field/theater.md) produces an [intangible resource](/welcome-to-metarcy/game-review/constituents/intangible-resources.md) - [knowledge](/welcome-to-metarcy/game-review/constituents/intangible-resources/knowledge.md).

If there are two or more *scientists* in the [location](/welcome-to-metarcy/game-review/constituents/playing-field.md) [university](/welcome-to-metarcy/game-review/constituents/playing-field/university.md) or [theater](/welcome-to-metarcy/game-review/constituents/playing-field/theater.md), then there is a [conflict](/welcome-to-metarcy/game-rules/game-turn/phase-4-conflict.md) between the *scientists*.

[Сonflict](/welcome-to-metarcy/game-rules/game-turn/phase-4-conflict.md) between *scientists* resolved with [RSP-tokens](/welcome-to-metarcy/game-review/constituents/rsp-tokens.md).

If the [conflict](/welcome-to-metarcy/game-rules/game-turn/phase-4-conflict.md) between the *scientists* is resolved with the result of draw, all [actors](/welcome-to-metarcy/game-review/constituents/actors.md)-*scientists* remain in the [location](/welcome-to-metarcy/game-review/constituents/playing-field.md), and the [conflict](/welcome-to-metarcy/game-rules/game-turn/phase-4-conflict.md) no longer occurs. 

Only the [Player](/welcome-to-metarcy/game-review/constituents/players.md)-owner of the [actor](/welcome-to-metarcy/game-review/constituents/actors.md)-*scientist* who remained in the [location](/welcome-to-metarcy/game-review/constituents/playing-field.md) - gets an [intangible resource](/welcome-to-metarcy/game-review/constituents/intangible-resources.md) - [knowledge](/welcome-to-metarcy/game-review/constituents/intangible-resources/knowledge.md).
