# Energy - Bet on losing

The [player](/welcome-to-metarcy/game-review/constituents/players.md) receives three *energy* unless her-his [robot](/welcome-to-metarcy/game-review/constituents/actors/robot.md)-[actor](/welcome-to-metarcy/game-review/constituents/actors.md) remained in the[ ](/welcome-to-metarcy/game-review/constituents/playing-field.md)[energy station](/welcome-to-metarcy/game-review/constituents/playing-field/energy-station.md) [location ](/welcome-to-metarcy/game-review/constituents/playing-field.md)after [conflict](/welcome-to-metarcy/game-rules/game-turn/phase-4-conflict.md) resolution.

If in the [energy station](/welcome-to-metarcy/game-review/constituents/playing-field/energy-station.md) [location](/welcome-to-metarcy/game-review/constituents/playing-field.md), after the resolution of the [conflict](/welcome-to-metarcy/game-rules/game-turn/phase-4-conflict.md), there are two or more [robots](/welcome-to-metarcy/game-review/constituents/actors/robot.md), then each [player](/welcome-to-metarcy/game-review/constituents/players.md) whose [robot ](/welcome-to-metarcy/game-review/constituents/actors/robot.md)remained in the [location](/welcome-to-metarcy/game-review/constituents/playing-field.md) [energy station](/welcome-to-metarcy/game-review/constituents/playing-field/energy-station.md) - receives one [material resource](/welcome-to-metarcy/game-review/constituents/material-resources.md) *energy*.

*Energy* can be used as **bet to lose in** [**conflict**](/welcome-to-metarcy/game-rules/game-turn/phase-4-conflict.md) **resolution**.

When the [player](/welcome-to-metarcy/game-review/constituents/players.md) sends any [actor](/welcome-to-metarcy/game-review/constituents/actors.md) to [location](/welcome-to-metarcy/game-review/constituents/playing-field.md) with the [RSP-Token](/welcome-to-metarcy/game-review/constituents/rsp-tokens.md), she-he can also add one *energy* to her-his [actor](/welcome-to-metarcy/game-review/constituents/actors.md) as a **bet on losing the conflict resolution**. If her-his [actor](/welcome-to-metarcy/game-review/constituents/actors.md) lose the [conflict](/welcome-to-metarcy/game-rules/game-turn/phase-4-conflict.md) the [conflict](/welcome-to-metarcy/game-rules/game-turn/phase-4-conflict.md) is re-resolved with the [RSP-Tokens](/welcome-to-metarcy/game-review/constituents/rsp-tokens.md). 

Each [turn](/welcome-to-metarcy/game-rules/game-turn.md),  [player](/welcome-to-metarcy/game-review/constituents/players.md) can place no more than one bet on each of her-his [actors](/welcome-to-metarcy/game-review/constituents/actors.md).
